Vaughn Lindquist (Baritone) enjoys a varied and
versatile repertoire. Recently performed roles include
Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Silvio in Pagliacci, Escamillo in
Carmen and Dandini in La Cenerentola, with Dicapo Opera
Theater, National Lyric Opera, Opera in the Ozarks and
Lancaster Opera Company. Other operatic appearances
include Danilo in The Merry Widow, Escamillo in Carmen, The
Father in Beauty and the Beast, Il Maestro di Ballo & Il
Commandante in Manon Lescaut, Il Notaio in Gianni Schicchi,
Dmitri in Richard Wargo's The Music Shop, Valmont in The
Dangerous Liaisons by Conrad Susa and Sid in La Fanciulla del
West.
This Season with Opera Manhattan, Mr. Lindquist will sing the title
role and Masetto in Don Giovanni, Valentin in Gounod's Faust
and Giorgio Germont in La Traviata.
Vaughn Lindquist attended Baylor University where he obtained
advanced degrees in Vocal Performance and Choral
Conducting.
