Rebecca Grady (Soprano) a native of Michigan,
received her M.M. degree in voice from the University of
Northern Iowa and obtained a B.A. degree in music and theatre
from Albion College. Ms. Grady’s opera roles include Pamina
from Die Zauberflöte, Perichole from La Perichole, and the First
Lady in Dido and Aeneas along with various opera scenes
performed with Genesis Opera Studio in Chicago. Her musical
theatre roles include Lady Grace from Something’s Afoot, Jenny
from The Threepenny Opera and a Kit Kat Girl in Cabaret. In
addition, Ms. Grady has been a featured soloist on many recitals
and gala programs, and was also a regular performer with many
sacred choirs while in Chicago including St. Chrysostum’s
Epsicopal church and St. James Cathedral.
This season Rebecca joins Opera Manhattan Repertory Theatre
for their production of Die Fledermaus and will perform the role
of Annina in their new production of La Traviata.
