

Rebecca Challis (Acting Coach) holds a BFA in
Acting from Texas State University. Off-Broadway credits include
the New York Premiere of Elizabeth Rex with Nicu's Spoon, the
New York Premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink with Alterego
Productions. Off-Off Broadway credits with Nicu's Spoon:
Elizabeth in Richard III, Maeve in Cherish, Rosie in A Kite Cut
Loose in the Middle of the Sky, Tardy in Elizabeth Rex, Cathy in
Tales of the Lost Formicans, various roles in Nicu's Spoon staged
readings including Spokane by Christian Gaul, Casualties of the
Great White Washer by Derin Altay-Gemignani, and The
Common Cold and The Offenses of Cacti, both by Matthew
Swaye. Small Television roles include work on Third Watch, The
Education of Max Bickford and Law and Order Special Victims
Unit. In addition to studying Acting at Texas State, she has also
taken various workshops in NYC including Commercial
Technique with Brooke Thomas and Mary Egan, Soap Opera
Technique with Eli Tray, Scene Study with Lynn Singer of T.
Schreiber Studios and Coaching with Charles Maryan, She also
spent four summers as a cast member in the Texas Shakespeare
Festival.
Ms. Challis is the Acting Coach in Residence for Opera
Manhattan Repertory Theatre.
