Kevin Kees (Baritone)   is delighted to be making his debut
performing the role of Frosch in
Die Fledermaus with Opera Manhattan.
He recently graduated with a Masters Degree in voice from Illinois
State University, and has sung with Opera Fairbanks, Nashville Opera,
Opera Theater of St. Louis, Virginia Opera, Ash Lawn-Highland Opera
Co., Opera North, Opera Illinois, Nashville Opera, and the Lyric Opera
of Chicago in such roles as Figaro (
The Barber of Seville) Count
Almaviva (
The Marriage of Figaro), Sharpless, Silvio, Schaunard,
Dandini, Papageno, Escamillo, Don Alfonso, Peter (
Hansel and Gretel)
and Sam (
Trouble in Tahiti), among many others.  A native of Chicago,
Illinois, Mr. Kees now resides in New York.  He is a long time student of
teacher Carl Lawrenz.

Upcoming roles include Barone Douphol and Marchese d'Obigny in
Opera Manhattan Repertory Theatre's new abridged production of

Traviata
