

Jessica Kimple (Mezzo-Soprano) a native of Iowa,
received her MM degree in voice from The Manhattan School
of Music. She has been granted scholarships to study voice in St.
Petersburg, Russia and the Centro Studi Lirica opera program in
Novafeltria, Italy. While in Italy, Ms. Kimple performed in opera
scenes from Le Nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, and La
Cenerentola. Her roles include Estrella from La Perichole,
Second Lady from The Magic Flute, Mum from Albert Herring,
Mrs. Ott from Susannah, Zita from Gianni Schicchi, Marianne
Woods from the World Premiere performance of The Misses Pirie
and Woods, and Wowkle from La Fanciulla del West. She
recently completed three years as a resident artist with Dicapo
Opera Theatre. She recently sang in the chorus of the Verdi
Requiem at The Metropolitan Opera and traveled to Hungary
where she covered the role of Elisabeth Proctor in The Crucible.
She sang the role of Siebel from Faust with Opera Manhattan
and will be performing Prince Orlofsky in their March production
of Die Fledermaus.
