Eve Orenstein (Mezzo-Soprano) New Jersey native, Ms.
Orenstein received her BM from Mason Gross School of the Artsat
Rutgers University and an MM from Manhattan School of Music.  She
has performed the roles of Marcellina in
Le Nozze di Figaro, Madame
Flora(Baba) in Menotti's
The Medium, Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte,
Emilia in
Otello, Ma Moss (cover) in Aaron Copland's The Tender Land,
Azucena in
Il Trovatore, and Mere Marie in Poulenc'sThe Dialogues of
the Carmelites
.  Eve has performed with companies such as Bronx
Opera, One World Symphony, New York Metro Vocal Arts Ensemble,
Liederkranz Opera Theatre, and Dicapo Opera Theatre.  Eve was a
winner in the New Jersey NATS Competition, and in the Feis Ceoil
music festival in Dublin, Ireland.

In Spring 2008, Eve was a member of Opera Colorado's Outreach
Ensemble, performing the lead role in the new bilingual opera
La
Curandera
, Tisbe in Cenerentola, and singing in concerts of opera
arias and ensembles at venues throughout Colorado.  The Ensemble
presented more than 70 performances between January and mid-
June.  She was also featured in the New Works Showcase at the 2008
National Performing Arts Convention.  

In Fall 2008, Eve performed the role of the dastardly Katisha in Gilbert
and Sullivan's
The Mikado with Village Light Opera Group and will be
performing Marthe in Gounod’s
Faust with Opera Manhattan in
January 2009.
