Brian Holman (Music Director) makes his Opera
Manhattan debut this summer as music director for La traviata.  
Recent credits include The Old Maid and the Thief (NYMVAE), Lucia
di Lammermoor and Rigoletto (Regina Opera), Hansel and Gretel
(New Rochelle Opera), and La vita nuova with Claremont
Orchestra. Future conducting engagements include La traviata
(Treasure Coast Opera), Orphée aux enfers (NYMVAE) and Gianni
Schicchi (Cardona Opera).  He has musically assisted several
organizations, including New Rochelle Opera (La traviata, Tosca,
Rigoletto, Aida) Regina Opera (Die Fledermaus, L’elisir d’amore,
Un ballo in maschera, Madama Butterfly, La bohème, Tosca)
Modus Opera (Le nozze di Figaro), Opera Company of Astoria
(Don Giovanni, The Impresario) Operatic Concert Artists (Los
Gavilanes), Treasure Coast Opera (Oklahoma!) and the Canadian
Chamber Orchestra of New York City.  As a pianist, Brian has
appeared at Salle Cortot, Carnegie Hall, Neue Galerie, The
Rainbow Room, and on KBAQ (Phoenix) radio with the ASU
Symphony.  Brian holds degrees from Arizona State University,
Manhattan School of Music, and continued his studies at L’École
Normale de Musique, Paris.
