

Andrea Leith (Ensemble) is a native of St. Charles, IL and
graduated from the University of Illinois with a BFA in Dance
Performance and Choreography. Andrea has performed with Royal
Carribean International cruiselines, and notable choreographers such
as Renee Wadleigh, Linda Lehovec, Sara Hook, Cynthia Oliver, and
Cynthia Pipkin-Doyle. In Chicago, Andrea danced with the Jump
Rhythm Jazz Project under the direction of Billy Sigenfeld, and
appeared in their Emmy-winning documentary “Jump Rhythm Jazz
Project: Getting There.” In New York, Andrea can be seen weekly at
FAO Schwartz as a “Professional Big Piano” Dancer. Choreography
credits include over 20 childrenʼs community theater productions in
Northwest Illinois, including “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat”
at the University of Illinois and “High School Musical” for Elgin High
School. As a certified personal trainer through the National Academy
of Sports Medicine, Andrea will be starting her own health and
exercise website/video this year!
This season with Opera Manhattan, Ms. Leith will be a featured dancer
in their new production of Die Fledermaus.
